IJATL

The International Journal of Applied Technology & Leadership is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal connecting applied technology, leadership, organizations, and practice. ISSN 2720-5215.

Role in the portfolio

A scholarly home for applied work.

IJATL adds a peer-reviewed research dimension to the Blackwood Harbor portfolio. Its purpose is distinct from Veritasio Press: the journal provides an academic publication venue with editorial review, scholarly continuity, citation, and issue-based publication.

Blackwood Harbor’s stewardship is designed to preserve that academic identity while modernizing the infrastructure around submissions, blind review, revision cycles, publication, subscriptions, and long-term archive management.

History

An established journal entering a new chapter.

IJATL’s scholarly record predates Blackwood Harbor. Volume 1, Issue 1 was published in January 2022, and the journal’s ISSN record identifies it as an online publication originating in Poland.

2022

Volume 1 begins

The January 2022 inaugural volume establishes IJATL’s early record, including applied research from contributors associated with institutions such as Capitol Technology University.

2022–24

The archive develops

Subsequent issues extend the journal’s coverage across human factors, technology, leadership, cybersecurity, organizational topics, and other applied research domains.

2026

Ownership transitions to Blackwood Harbor

IJATL becomes a wholly owned Blackwood Harbor & Co. subsidiary. The transition is structured to preserve the journal’s name, archive, scholarly lineage, and editorial continuity while creating a modern operating platform for its future.

Next

Modern infrastructure, preserved identity

The journal’s next phase emphasizes a dedicated public-facing site backed by a reusable journal-management and subscription platform, supporting blind peer review, revisions, subscriptions, publication workflows, and future journal expansion.
